Escalent is honored to share the recognition of Christopher Barnes as Researcher of the Year (supplier) by The Marketing Research & Insight Excellence Awards. The award reflects Escalent’s thought leadership, expertise and superior client experience.
“We are thrilled to see Chris honored for the great work he does every day,” said Melissa Sauter, chief executive officer. “Chris’s commitment to consistently delivering innovative and impactful market research solutions is invaluable to our clients. His leadership is critical to the great work we do serving brands which must navigate tumultuous, disruptive industry landscapes.”
Barnes, chief product officer and managing director of Escalent’s Financial Services division, was named Researcher of the Year for putting his unique expertise to work in helping leaders in Congress and brands in dozens of industries navigate the COVID-19 global health crisis. His unique knowledge has been critical to guiding understanding of consumers’ security, stimulus and reopening needs, as well as food supply issues and mortgage relief.
In addition, a Financial Services team led by Loribeth McCann, which includes Riva Kupritz, Angela Burns and Laura Winebarger, was a finalist in the Client/Supplier Collaboration of the Year category for a complex project tasked with redefining value with Bank of America. The team worked closely with client stakeholders to align the benefits of Advantage Banking with what is meaningful to the customer in support of a new checking account offering.
The awards, organized by Quirk’s Media, highlight professionals, brands and products that significantly impact marketing research. Categories include recognitions for best projects, MR tools and those using their talents to make the world a better place.
