Insights Director, Health & Life Sciences
Shannon Carton is an insights director in Escalent's Health & Life Sciences group, with more than 10 years of experience in market research. She partners with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to translate the perspectives of patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals into clear, actionable insights. Her experience spans a range of therapeutic areas, with particular expertise in neurology, oncology, immunology, dermatology, rare disease, cardiometabolic health and more. Within Alzheimer’s disease, Shannon has conducted research with individuals across the disease continuum, including those who are preclinical, experiencing mild cognitive impairment or living with early symptoms. She is especially passionate about bringing patient, caregiver and HCP voices into research early and using their experiences to inform more empathetic, patient-centered strategies. Shannon is based in Illinois and enjoys spending time outside, cooking and reading to her daughter, Rowan.
